Alex has always had a keen interest in the logistics industry, separating his time at school in Ely, Cambridgeshire with Saturday’s spent at Knowles’ Wimblington Headquarters.
After graduating from university with degrees in Business and Management in 2012, Alex joined Knowles Transport has since embarked on modernizing and growing the business following in the footsteps of his grandfather Gerald, and father Tony Knowles. Alex worked through various administration, Subcontraction and transport management roles before taking up the position of Business Development Manager of which he holds today.
With a wide remit in which to operate Alex prides himself on not only delivering the acquisition of supply chain solutions that align with the individual goals of his customers, but actually playing a pivotal role in the implementation and subsequent operation of these solutions. Alex is a regular figure in trade press and attends various trade shows and gives his thoughts on the dynamic UK logistics industry in various interviews.
